Quilt of the Month
Log Cabin is an old quilt block set together here to commemorate a celebrated event in pioneer life, barn raising.  The red center symbolized the hearth and home. The light side of the square depicted joy and happiness, while the dark side represented life’s hard-times and sorrow.

A beautiful quilt pieced in the old tradition, Barn Raising quilts can be complemented with pillow shams, quilted pillows and quilted throws.
